WOOOO!!!! HOOOOO!!!!

OK….Vinously Speaking Blog Readers!!! It is Monday and I FEEL INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!
As you all know, I am a student at the Masters in Wine Business Program at the Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, France. What you may or may not know is that after the academic portion of this course I need to complete a thesis/internship for 4-6months and then defend my thesis in December. I decided over the holiday break in the US to do my thesis/internship on the “State of the San Antonio, Texas Wine Industry” after which I would like to become the driving wine force that San Antonio SO insanely needs! And subsequently, I would like to turn Vinously Speaking into much more than a blog, I want to make it a wine complex I can’t go into any further detail as advised by my legal counsel =P ). SO ANY WAYS……. for one of our masters courses we had to find a partner and come up with a basic business plan for a fake company, BUT I did my idea of Vinously Speaking, and convinced my project partner that this was what out topic should be. We had to prepare a 20 min pitch and present it in front of a panel of 3 professors from this school, one visiting professor on finance/accounting, another professor on wine knowledge aka oenology and a third professor of marketing/sales. SOooo it was our tun and we pitched them this idea in this simulation asking them to be stakeholders in our “fake” business. (We had heard from other students they wer really grilling the previous groups and being rather ‘tough’) and…

THEY THOUGHT MY (OUR) IDEA ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WERE SPEECHLESS! All they could really say was, GET ON THIS PROJECT ASAP!!!! I MEAN, IF THEY HAD REAL MONEY TO GIVE ME…..THEY TOTALLY WOULD HAVE….and they are not the kind of people to give away “fake” money easily!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!

CAN YOU TELL I AM ECSTATIC??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?

AND, I even showed them my blog as part of the presentation and all the those little country flags to show how international I am…..AND THAT IS ALLLLLL THANKS TO YOU!!!! MY BLOG READERS WHO SO AMAZINGLY SUPPORT ME!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR BEING APART OF THIS!!! THIS IS GOING TO TURN INTO SOMETHING BIG!!! I KNOW IT! I FEEL IT WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
